Challenge
The Bankers Association of Uganda is an umbrella organisation of financial institutions regulated and supervised by the Central Bank of Uganda.
In order to address the increasing cyber security threats and manage cyber incidents, it was decided to create a platform where banks and other financial institutions operating in Uganda, could share experiences and lessons learned, collaborate on emerging challenges, and manage emerging cyber security threats.
Solution
NRD Cyber Security experts have prepared a design document for a Cyber Security Operations Centre (C-SOC), which will enable the Uganda Bankers Association to proceed with the gradual development of a Cyber Security Operations Centre.
