DevOps engineer

Role Objective

Improve the company’s cybersecurity monitoring products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, automate and maintain our cybersecurity products and solutions;
• Keep up to date with the best practices and new technologies;
• Collaboration on technical architecture and system design;
• Ensure security, scalability and availability;
• Reproduce and simulate application incidents to create debug reports and coordinate delivery of application fixes;
• Play an active part in shaping the product, based on what’s technically possible.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/IS engineering or equivalent professional experience in a related field;
• Experience working with ElasticStack products (Logstash, Beat, ElasticSearch, Kibana, ElastAlert, Curator);
• At least 2-year experience in scripting (ex. Python, PHP, Perl, bash);
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux (OS hardening, iptables, ssh authentication, problem troubleshooting);
• Hands-on experience configuring and running Ubuntu on ESXi or Hyper-V.;
• Experience working/developing Docker images and docker based applications;
• Strong task and time management skills, a proactive and results-oriented mindset, critical thinking abilities;
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Lithuanian.

Preferred additional qualifications:

• Experience with event-driven IT automation, remote task execution, and configuration management tools like Saltstack, Ansible, etc;
• Experience with security monitoring solutions, log collection (SIEM) or IDS (Snort, Suricata, Zeek);
• Understanding security standards and best practices (ISO 27k, NIST, CIS benchmarks);
• Experience working with SIEM solutions in the implementation and analysis of log data or network traffic;
• Experience with Incident handling, CTI management, security orchestration tools.
