SOCshare: Threat Intelligence Sharing Meeting #10

We invite you to the 10th Threat Intelligence Sharing meeting!

Event language: tbc

Join us for another meeting organized by NRD Cyber Security and the Vilnius City Municipality Administration, where representatives from Lithuanian SOCs, CERTs, CSIRTs, and related cybersecurity sectors will personally share threat intelligence. Through this series of events, we aim to contribute to increasing cyber resilience in the European Union while fostering a culture of information sharing within the Lithuanian cybersecurity community.

This time, the following speakers will share their experiences, advice, and challenges:

  • Edgardas Balsevičius, Head of the Digital Security Competence Center (CISO) at AB Miesto gijos, who will discuss his organization’s SOC journey from strategy to implementation.
  • Jevgenij Barsukov, Operational Data Processing Engineer (DFIR, VAPT, CTIA) at the Vilnius City Municipality Administration (VMSA), who will discuss the progress of the Vilnius Cyber Grid.
  • Tom Beshaw, Head of security operations and threat management at Johnson Matthey about real deep fake occasions, cyber treat intelligence and OT security solutions

If you would like to share your insights on cyber threat monitoring and analysis with the community, or if you know of an organization or individual whose presentation would be valuable, please indicate this on the registration form.

SOCshare is partially funded by the European Union. The project is supported by the European Cybersecurity Competence Center under grant agreement No. 101127977.

Event duration: The event will last approximately 1.5 hours; coffee and refreshments will be served starting at 9:30 a.m. Registration is required for admission. Event language: Lithuanian.

SOCshare project

From the summer of 2023, together with Vilnius City Municipality, we have launched the SOCshare project. It aims to strengthen the maturity of Security Operations Centres (SOCs) in Lithuania and elsewhere in the EU, to react more quickly to cyber-attacks and to share the obtained information. The project will also provide opportunities to increase the maturity of the Vilnius Cyber Grid (virtual cyber security team) by increasing the qualification of staff and acquiring the necessary software.
