Assessment of the Republic of Serbia's cybersecurity ecosystem
Challenge
In recent years, the Republic of Serbia has adopted several pieces of legislation aimed at strengthening cybersecurity in the country. Information security has been recognised as one of the six priorities for the development of the information society. However, there was a lack of information on the current situation, especially with regard to the protection of critical infrastructure.
Solution
The project involved an assessment of the Republic of Serbia’s cybersecurity ecosystem by NRD Cyber Security. The assessment included a review of the then existing legal framework, critical information infrastructure protection, and cyber incident management. At the end of the project, recommendations were made to improve the resilience of Serbia’s critical infrastructure and to develop a cybersecurity strategy.
