Cybersecurity Fusion Centre Capacity Building for the Central Bank of Nigeria

Challenge

The Central Bank of Nigeria is establishing a sectorial Cybersecurity Fusion Centre in order to increase the financial sector’s cyber resilience and the operation of a knowledge and cybersecurity service centre for financial institutions.

Solution

NRD Cyber Security was chosen to implement two phases:

Step 1: The creation of a foundations platform for Cyber Threat Intelligence Sharing capability, aimed at serving the coordinated threat intelligence needs of all financial institutions.

Step 2: Architecting mandate, organisational framework, services and processes setup for the Fusion Centre.
